Neurogenic Fibrosarcoma of the Ascending Colon

Abstract

|
A laparotomy was done for a 21 years old Korean male under the diagnosis of the subacute appendicits with chronic adhesions that revealed a huge globular mass in the wall of the ceaum and the ascending colon which was removed by the right hemicolectomy and was diagnosed to be the neurogenic fibrosarcoma pathologically.
One years follow up study shows rather benign course clinically, good general condition, no evidence of local recurrence and no subjective complaints which does not correspond to the general understanding of this tumor.
